Khatidja joins Sterling as In-House Counsel and Head of Trusts. Khatidja worked at Ogier as a Corporate and Commercial Attorney focusing on investment funds, banking and finance, companies, partnerships, and trusts, she then worked at Solomon Harris during which time she worked within trusts and local practice and then at Citco Trustees (Cayman) Limited where she managed commercial trusts as In-House Trusts Counsel. Khatidja then managed her own practice, McLeans which specialized in local practice, including trusts and asset protection, business, contract, probate, and employment law. In 2008 Khatidja was admitted as an Attorney of the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands and in 2009 she was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of England and Wales. In addition, Khatidja is a Notary Public, a member of the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association, a member of the Caymanian Bar Association, a member of the Law Society of England and Wales, and a member of 100 Women in Finance
