Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Plans for a Water Sports Dock on Seven Mile Beach

The Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman resort on Seven Mile Beach, is poised to become the largest hotel in the Cayman Islands.

Located on a seven-acre site, the development will include 190 hotel rooms, 88 ‘condo-hotel’ guest rooms and 76 one-, two- and three-bed ‘condo hotel suites’, which are over 80% sold.

It is also slated to include six restaurants, three resort-style swimming pools, a 12,000-square-foot destination spa and fitness centre, and a 25,000 square-foot indoor-outdoor conference meeting space.

As part of this ambitious project, developers Sterling Global Financial Ltd. and Pageant Beach Ltd. have recently applied for a coastal works permit to construct a water sports dock, which will serve dive boats, catamarans, and tour operators, enhancing the resort’s appeal to adventure seekers and water sports enthusiasts. This development marks a significant milestone in the Grand Hyatt’s journey, with a target opening in 2025.
