David Kosoy
Executive Chairman & Founder, Director
David has over 50 years of real estate investment, development and lending experience. David is the Executive Chairman & Founder of Sterling Global Financial. From 2000 to 2007, he was Co-CEO and Co-Chairman of publicly listed Sterling Centrecorp Inc., and from 1991 to 2000, he was the founder of the Sterling Companies based in Palm Beach, Florida. Earlier in his career, David was the Principal of Brother Developments from 1971 to 1991.
He is also the Chairman of M.Advisory Worldwide, which provides legal, fiduciary, consultancy, and investment services across multiple jurisdictions, including The Bahamas, in association with the Sterling Group. Additionally, he serves as a Director of Ashton Woods U.S.A., one of the largest home builders in the United States.
David earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Akron in Ohio, while on a full football scholarship. In 2024, he received the Mike Krino Varsity “A” Achievement Award, earning a place in Akron’s Varsity “A” Hall of Fame. He was also a provincial first-team all-star and member of the 1969-70 York University men’s hockey team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, which was inducted into the University Hall of Fame in 2018.
David is a law graduate from Osgoode Hall Law School and practiced law in Toronto, Canada. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he has served as chairman and advisor to various charities, contributing his expertise and leadership to philanthropic initiatives.
