As General Counsel of Sterling Global Financial, Kobi oversees the firm’s legal, regulatory, and transactional matters across its global operations and supports strategic business initiatives. Kobi has over 25 years of experience as an international finance lawyer and business executive, advising on cross-border transactions, investment funds, and complex financing structures.
Kobi has significant experience in international financial services and offshore jurisdictions, having structured and executed transactions across major global financial centres. He has lived and worked as a lawyer and business advisor in Canada, the Cayman Islands, The Bahamas, and Curaçao, and has held senior roles within international banks, trust companies, and financial services advisory firms.
His experience spans fund structuring, capital deployment, and real estate-related investments, with a focus on aligning legal, commercial, and operational objectives. He regularly advises on matters of capital management, governance, and risk in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.
Kobi is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, an Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University, and an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School.
